India’s biggest telecom operator is geared up to debut its money-spinning “Minute Factory” in Africa. Bharti Airtel has clicked a deal to buy the Kuwaiti Telecom Zain which has operations in 15 countries of African continent, including 42 million subscribers. The USD 9 billion deal has made Bharti the second largest telecom operator in Africa, joining an elite group of operators that have a presence in over 18 countries and a subscriber base of 179 million.
